Bay Pines Medical Center – Bay Pines Satellite Outpatient Centers and Bay Pines Veterans Foster Care

Location and Time:

Bay Pines Florida
Event will be April 24 from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM

Activity/responsibility:

Bay Pines Medical center activities will include cleaning shore line around center, raking and picking up debris on campus, painting, cleaning, planting flowers and shrubs and mulching areas throughout the campus. Primary and participating youth 5 years of age to 12 years will be making cards and preparing to sing to veterans in the hospital as well as the long term care facility and the foster care homes.

Work at Outpatient Centers will include grounds maintenance, shrub and tree trimming and painting.

Foster Care Facilities will include cleaning, repairing and painting of exterior areas of the facilities. Cards and personal hygiene kits will be distributed to residents of these homes.

We will be providing much needed service for over 1200 veterans of foreign wars.We are partnering with Bay Pines Volunteer Services and various veterans groups in Pinellas County. In addition a public invitation is being extended to local organizations’ residents in both Pasco and Pinellas Counties by each of our wards and branches.

Additional Notes:

Volunteers: open to all residents of Pinellas and Pasco Counties. Our goal is to have 500 church members and 400 additional volunteers from various organizations throughout the counties.
