Homestretch is an organization that owns a small neighborhood of homes with 27 residences in Roswell. They offer temporary fully furnished accommodations for homeless families trying to get on their feet again. During the course of their temporary stay, participants must be actively working or in pursuit of employment. Adults must attend all required counseling and workshops (600 hours) designed to teach life skills and preparation for sustainable employment. Must be drug free.
The Roswell Ward provided extensive landscaping improvement and maintenance. ยท Large amount of mulch was spread throughout the Homestretch neighborhood; Flowers were planted; Plants were redistributed to needed areas;New landscaping with new plants, flowers and mulch were designed and installed in undeveloped areas at the front entrance;All lawns in the neighborhood cut and edged;Weeds throughout the neighborhood removed;Interior painting of some residences;Bushes trimmed; General clean-up
