Please collect and bring in your old shoes that are in good condition, Please bring them to the chapel
This shoe drive is to benbefit Soles4Souls. Soles4souls has destributed products to people in need in over 70 countries on 5 continents includingthe the U.S., Honduras,Guatamala, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Swaziland, Uganda,Iraq, Peru, Thailand, and Nepal. Its so easy to help give hope, simply by giving a pair of shoes.

Red Cross Blood Drive

American Red Cross Blood Drive in conjunction the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints.

Location and Time:

The blood drive will take place on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Red Cross Blood center at 25 Tibet Avenue.
Hours will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Activity/responsibility:

The event is part of the 2nd Annual Day of service for the LDS church in the 10 states
throughout the Southeast.

Tools or skills required:

You must be able to give blood.

Beautification of Savannah

Location and Time:

Lake Mayer park corner of Sallie Mood Dr. and Montgomery Cross Rd., Ambuc Park on Sallie Mood Dr. next to Aquatic center between Eisenhower and Montgomery Cross Rd.

Beginning at 8:00am till done Saturday April 24th.

Activity/responsibility:

Members of the Savannah Ward along with community and Partner volunteers and other Churches will organize landscaping work at Lake Mayer and Ambuc Park. We will be mulching the Trees and some cleanup..

Tools or skills required:

Gloves, rakes, shovels, and pool skimming tools to retreive floating debris.
