The Greenville ward met at 7am on April 24 at the church for a delicious breakfast prepared by Bill Robertson and Larsen Steele. After the meal, 16 members (4 relief society sisters and 12 priesthood brethren) met at the Habitat House with the project manager and the future owner of the home. Two to three crews of workers spent the day hanging windows and doors, seeding the back and side yards, and removing debris from the property. While an extensive storm cut the day short after five hours of work, everyone enjoyed the opportunity to work together in serving the young couple who someday soon would occupy this home. We also formed a relationship with the folks at habitat for humanity and have agreed to go back and help again and often.
