We distributed plastic bags before April 24th to our near neighbors and friends in Burlington, Elon, and Gibsonville. The bags were printed with the food drive date, the foods needed, and the organizations sponsoring this drive. Each family took approximately 10-20 bags, visited friends and neighbors, and told them that we would come back on April 24 to pick up the bags filled with food. Then on April 24th, we collected the filled bags and brought them back to the van parked at the church. We filled about 2/3 of the van.
