This site is owned by Corporation of the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a legal entity affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ( the “Church”) for use by Church and community members regarding a planned “Day of Service.” This site is intended to help inform the public of volunteer service opportunities, regionally planned activities, to allow organizers to share experiences, and to allow individuals to coordinate planned activities. Personal Information: Collection and Use
Personal Data. You can access this site without providing any personal information. We collect personal information only from those users seeking to provide content for the site. On a voluntary basis we collect only the information necessary for the site administrator to approve the individual to provide content. This is limited to name and email address. Upon successful registration the site administrator will provided the registered user a username and password to permit the user to submit content directly onto the site. Registered users may voluntarily provide additional information in the information they upload to the site. Registered users may correct their personal information by contacting the site administrator and requesting a change or by going on to the site and changing the content submitted.
Users may also share personal information when they make postings or submit comments (if that feature is provided on the site). Others will have access to the personal information within such postings. Users must be careful with information users choose to disclose.
Third-Party Data. Registered users may submit personal information of third parties involved in various activities in the content submitted. When providing personal information about anyone other than themselves, registered users represent they have obtained the third-party’s consent.
