8:00 am until we are done

Activity/responsibility:

The Branch will be painting the entire insideof a Habitat for Humanity house which is being rehabed for a new family.  The future home owners will also be working with the Branch members.

Tools or skills required:

Painting equipment of all kinds - ladders, scaffolds, rollers, brushes, tape machines, tarpaulins, buckets, etc.

Ages:

7+

Additional Notes:

Habitat’s construction crews as well as college students will prepare the house by completing all spackling and other preliminary work.  It is our intent to apply two coats during the day.  All the doors will have been removed ahead of time so that the younger Branch members will be able to participate by painting them. All materials will be provided by Habitat, the Branch provides the sweat labor.
