Activity/responsibility:
Deep clean inside the dormitory
Pressure washing dormitory
Landscaping and yard cleanup
We would also like to collect basic school supplies, Hair care, batteries, household supplies (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, laundry detergent, etc), flashdrives for homework projects so the children can take the information with them when they leave.

Wheel barrows, shovels, rakes, pressure washers, and various landscaping tools and machines

Additional Notes:
The Callen-Lacey Center for Children provides temporary care to clients ages newborn to 17 whom have been abused, neglected or abandoned. The center provides the clients basic needs through group/individual therapy, group outings to activities, a warm bed, shelter and constant care. The emergency shelter assists children whom must be placed in temporary custody of the state in order to provide a safe environment.
The Callen-Lacey Center for Children opened its doors in April 1998 and is located in Berkeley County. It is one of only two emergency shelters in the tri-county and a program under the Carolina Youth Development Center.

Berkeley County Library Book Repair

Activity/responsibility:
Our project will include tasks such as reviewing all books and identifying those that are in need of repair and replacement. Minimal or no physical work will be required.

The Berkeley County Library System delivers community driven library services and programs that create opportunities for personal enrichment, foster a love of reading and literacy, and provide a wide variety of resources for research and entertainment. In doing so, they manage their resources efficiently and effectively, and sustain alliances with like minded organizations and individuals in our service area.
Volunteers aid in implementing programs and services at a level not funded in the regular budget, Supplement the efforts of library staff in meeting the demands for quality library service, and enhance community engagement in the delivery of library services and resources.
